Atlast after 12 years...

The great Isabelan 2000 reunion... after 12 years

          Finally… After numerous plans of get together with High school friends, classmates and school mates our dream has finally come true. It was been 12 years seen the last time that 2k Isabelan been together thou some keep in touch with each other but with this one activity these different set of people came to one event of the night of March 24, 2012, its the Isabelan 2000 reunion. 

          The reunion has been planned and discussed numerous times, since some couldn't make it and no one was organizing it so things are just all a plan, until finally the date has been set on March 24, 2012 at Taste of Asia, MOA. Thanks to the effort of the organizers Giselle, Ruzhel, Marose, Maan, with ahelp of some people too  Sharlyn, Kelly, Regz and yours truly, it became a reality. Five (5) months of preparation, finding venues, food tasting, buying and arranging souvenirs, continues reminders these all are been taken cared of up to the last minute by these people. And even though it's still one week before the event it was a week full of excitement, every one is so excited and we couldn't contain it the Isabelan account was bombarded with messages and reminders.

               At last, the day of our long awaited and carefully planned high school reunion arrived. The weather was not as you would wish it to be when you are having a reunion but the rain nor lightning and any one can stop us from coming on this event as we all waited for this for so long. Thou some came in late but what's important is they/we are there. Most of us just came from houses, some from work shift yet it didn’t do anything to impede our high spirits. Despite of small number of participants which is less than 50 people I could say it was a success, it is indeed a success.

              The night was even more fun as the Aquino twins took the center stage and do the hosting, everyone had a good laugh, actually I thought I was in a comedy bar. There were games like pinoy henyo, tanduay ice drinking and hefty search for the star of the night.. ha ha ha.  There were raffles as well courtesy of our balikbayan friend Ruzhel, sadly I didn't win, however more than the prizes being there is enough as you could say you've already won that you will carry on forever.

            More over, it is so nice to see your friends and classmates that you haven't talked or seen for so long, now seeing all of them were most had changed physically, some may stayed the same, still everyone still looks juvenile and facile... others got married and have kids have their stories and says. From anything goes teenagers now to a full grown women, more matured, more fine and someone who are with dignity as they prowess their life long dreams as some are already a teacher, a doctor, a nurse, a manager, an engineer and others here and abroad... wow its so amazing. Never the less, this is one of my happiest nights, something that I will remember and for sure everyone will. I'm hoping that we will have another reunion soon and that more will come that time.

             After the dinner some joined the overnight outing in Batangas, unfortunately I was not able to come as I still have work that night and also have team building with co-workers the next day. I could sense thou that they actually had fun and got themselves drunk... No doubt about that.
