Team building of THE GREGARIOUS TEAM AYE

Team Aye... COTS

Everything was all planned in one sitting and it was only discussed quickly as it was said that the more it is being talk about more likely it will not push thru so we just keep it silent. It actually all started with the previous team, that was planning to have an outing , unfortunately due to differences in schedules it didn't push thru until the old team got dissolved. However the good thing is that the plan continued on but with the current team already. Aye, team's supervisor just suggested to have a team outing, first and last team outing actually and everyone said yes in chorus and the plan was set.

Before going any further just to remember back, the GREGARIOUS TEAM AYE started when everyone applied for COTS position in office. We all went to a training, DC, and production and afterwards we're set as one team. Despite of differences in schedule all in the team were able to build good relationship with each other, the team was really bonded and every shift is something we are all looking forward to, to be in the office and see the team.

Unfortunately the team didn't last, as much as we would like to keep the team, new shift bid was made and that is something that we don't have a control over with. Thru the course of two (2) months everyone learned to accept, respect and loved each other despite of differences in characters, attitude, outlook but at the end of the day we all learned to understand our differences that is why it is so sad to let these people go.

To make things even more harder we set a team outing. Just one week before the team building the final meeting was made but unfortunately there was actually still no clear plan as to the place and activities, what was only sure of was it will be pushed thru the date was set on March 26, 2012 it was Sunday. Finally after a long unclear plans, it come true  thou the full plan was only laid out on the day it self by Aye, itinerary was set with time schedule, ha ha ha it was so funny...

Most of the team came from their rest day so good thing they were able to get better sleep, unfortunately for Jade, Debs, Jopee, me & UM Aye we all came from shifts so we actually don't have much sleep but still after the shift we hurriedly went down so we could follow the schedule in time. So as soon as the van we rented arrived we immediately left and trekked the road. But we still picked up Jem and Mother D along the way and then team Aye are all complete. During the travel inside the van along the way it was a non stop talking, laughing, singing there were never any dull moments despite that some are tired and sleepy. Well who could fall asleep when you are with great people.

 Along the way in Laguna, we tried to look for a private resort so it will just be near and we wouldn't go that far to Taytay, we were able to find one just enough but everyone still opted to go Taytay and see the falls. However there was been a slight changes of plan as it was supposedly we should go off first to Majayjay falls for atleast 2-3hours before heading to the resort, but they suggested to go straight to the resort and just go to falls by tomorrow morning. So we continued on our journey, we had a lunch in Jollibee somewhere along the way (sorry I forgot the place, hehe) then afterwards we also already bought our foods, in the market just near by we bought liempo, tilapia, chicken for the adobo, there are fruits as well.. he he he it was a great buy. Then we already go straight to the house of um Aye's Aunt were we cooked the adobo and rice then marinated the liempo and tilapia that was later on grilled at the resort. But before going to the resort we dropped by at the near market again for the last buys. Finally  we reached the Carayan resort, I believed it was already 7:30PM and immediately some fired up the grilled for the liempo and tilapia. Thanks to the help of everyone as the food was served just probably after 1 hour knowing every one is already hungry, every one digs in.

After dinner the full fun begins, despite of the rain the night was full of laughter, stories, drinking, singing... haaaay it was a great night, indeed a great night. The wind breeze is already cold due to rain but still everyone take a dip in the freezing pool and in fairness the coldness of the pool removes my tipsiness from drinking, it helped me a lot as it kept me awake until 5 am taking turns as I take sip of Empi light w/ the guys, hala.... ha ha ha

Morning came still sleepy but have to get up and have to go to Majayjay falls. We had our light breakfast as in light as we really don't have much food to eat but right after that we drove to Majayjay. Thou it was raining some maybe hesitant but no one can stop our UM to take all, as in all down the falls. UM wins and all of us trekked the trail to the falls, and when we reached the placed everyone are so amazed and owed how beautiful the place is. We only stayed for about 30minutes, tooks pictures, enjoy the scene and leave. We have schedule to catch up, by 4pm of Monday we are in Manila, to remind you we still have shift then in the evening. Amazingly thou tired and super sleepy everyone are still present at work and taking calls that's what you called dedication and love. 

After this outing it so sad that the team will be dissolved as we have to go on with our new team, separation anxiety envelop everyone but never the less, this team is something to cherish and will never be forgotten. I have been to lot of teams, of people but from the bottom of my heart I could say this is one of the teams I will forever remember. Thou it was only two months that we've been together but it was a fruitful 2 months, as it is not how long you've been together but how you've shared your time together.

Ooops, well I could see that the last few words will not gonna work for me anymore, sorry guys I got lost w/o a word there was an unfortunate event but things are Ok now. Just take care, chill, relax, smile...Miss you all.
