Hooking up with Backstreet boys

A few days ago I have a co worker who's been playing songs of Backstreet boys and I actually grew up knowing this group in fact I'm a real fan, sadly I am not a computer savvy or site savvy for that matter so I don't know where I could download songs so I don't have songs of BSB on my phone but gladly I was able to now after getting the site from my co worker.. hehehe I'm reminiscing on their songs and playing it every now and then, actually its playing on right now as of this writing. I have and still have their album tape but I don't have a cassette player and can't still buy one I'm not sure thou if there is still.. and wow I had just thought that it was been almost a decade or more since the last time I played that tape, hahahaha.

It is such a good feeling remembering the things that you've been crazy in the past, it brings back the smile that was once in your face before upon seeing them/of getting what you want. I could still remember during high school years that they are so popular, me and my friends/classmate even created a group representing each of the BSB I did Kevin... hehehe I liked him so much, I've collected pictures and posters of them, I've bought magazines and song books featuring them and other paraphernalia of them, hahaha that's how people and I went gaga with them, I actually still like them thou.

After 2 decades, after coming from a long break, from their own activities here they are again... as they were Never Gone they had keep it Goin' On and they had Never Broke our Hearts. For sure they are always Larger Than Life they had Shown us the Meaning of Being Lonely but the had proven a million times they are The One, the Shining Star,  Unbreakable, they are the BACKSTREET BOYS.

The Beautiful PHILIPPINES

Its been a while since my last trip and haven't been to another place aside from our house since that . 

As there was an unfortunate event I was not able to travel even just in near place or province, 

however things are back on track now and I wish I could continue on with my traveling. 

Everyone deserves a break, should gad on atleast once in a full year of their work 

however not everyone though can afford, so I'm lucky and thankful that I was able to.  

Before this mishap happened I had planned doing a Vigan-Laoag-Pagudpod tour, 

but this was set aside due to mishap. But that was over because I can have this push through, 

I just have to wait though first for a while and save up. I am actually thinking of doing this trip solo, 

consider backpacking since I already had a solo trip before I would like to do it again 

but this time it will be more far and challenging as I tend to do it without any plans, 

though will already set an itineraries for that. I'd like to see on how far I can go and feel on being audacity. 

For now though while still waiting for the right moment I 'll just keep myself busy first with my 

responsibilities and obligations. There might also be some changes I may thought of going to Camaroan, or it could be at Dumaguete, I can also go back to Davao or Bora, well I don't know I don't hold the future, what ever it is I'm fine with that just where ever my "itchy feet" bring me. 

Since I just came from hiatus I'll keep things one at a time, as the Lord will lead me. 

More than that I also hope that I can travel with my friends specially with my best friend Quel 

as we haven't gone to any place together yet... for sure though one day, one day.

Me and my Blog

               

                 September 7, it was exactly one (1) year since I created this blog account for a personal use for a purpose of  to write my stories, my experiences, my moments, my thoughts, my feelings. I had never thought that I can keep up this blog and keep it alive and hoping I could continue with this, well I bet I can because my everyday is a story, every journey is a story.

                 Not every time I open and write on my blog is a happy moments, thou most are but nevertheless this site is something I'm happy to check and read my entries every now and then even thou I don't have something to blog on for that day.

                As  Hugh Macleod said Blogging is an art, same as any other method of self-expression. Some are better at it than others. All of the bloggers have their own reasons on why they create their blog/s, no matter what the reason for sure one thing that all bloggers have in common is the passion for writing,  blogging, sharing and making people aware that may relates them.

              As I put on my site that blogging is just a sliver part of lustrous writing. Everyday is a journey so... I write. I share. I blog. I smile.

Children of our time 2

On my blog dated October 12, 2011, I wrote about my nieces.. my adorable nieces. At this time this blog is dedicated to my nephew, my first nephew baby Jared Mjolnir Luke C. Gaerlan the "not so little baby" of my brother. 

Sadly I were not able to get much time with my nephew because my brother and his wife is living in Paranaque, far from ours and we don't see each other that much. But nevertheless there are pix being posted so we could see how our baby is doing. And here's some of his pix...

Akyat para sa Dumagat

As I mentioned in my last blogged July 27, that I will  post pictures of my last activities which was the "Akyat para sa Dumagat" last July 21-22, 2012 at San Andres, Tanay Rizal, Philippines. Recently I've been trying to do outreach program as much as I can to make my self and time useful. 

This semi climb was so worth risking for even thou I am not familiar with the people I came with, what I know off is that we have the same purpose and we have the same goal, to help and do what we all love... to climb.

Wonderfully enlightened

     Yesterday I had a realization, when me and my friend and travel buddy Jp, went out and had "Visita Iglesia" under the raining season. After knowing that this friend of mine have colon cancer, tears falls from my eyes however I have to be positive, we have to be positive that he will still be healed, there will be miracles. 

                                                      

     Sometimes people reject and neglect our health and our relationship to God. We all take things for granded and then when things get bad that's when we open our eyes and be reminded of our bad ways. However unfortunate things really happens, when its already there, no one should be blame but just have to accept it, work from it and make things better as miracles do happen just believe.

     Yesterday, when we went out honestly I felt happy, peace and there is a smile on my face despite of the situation as I could see that my friend starts to repent, starts to open and give his life to the Lord thou I know he is hurting. One other good thing that brought up this incident is that we his friends are being dragged back to the church (thou I do go to church) but this felt different. We even joked about that Jp is bringing his friends to the right path and then one day we will just notice that all of us will have halo. hehehehe....

     However we believe that Jp will be healed and will live long more years, we'll still climb mountain and go to different places as this guy still owes me a trip.... hehehe

Remember clean living, healthy living and Faithful living.

I just thought

Wow I've never noticed that my last blogged was since last June 8 and  haven't had blog anything as words comes in and out of the mind. It so ridiculous, that even though I'm just sitting words are overflowing me then when I'm about to write it down, arrrg its all gone. Right now honestly I don't have any theme about this blog, well probably I could say this is anything goes.

Even though there had been lot of things happened in my life in the last 1 month and 1/2, I have just thought that well there are things that doesn't need to be broadcasted, to tell to every one, some times its just better to keep it to your self or to your close friends and just be pious that things will be better.

There is one thing thou that I did last July 21-22, 2012 and I'll post the pictures soon... It has something to do about my favorite hobby which is mountain climbing. I joined these mountaineering groups, in which by the way I don't have any idea who and what they are, I don't even know any from them but still I joined. They have an advocate to help and do outreach program that actually enticed me to join the activity. In 3 years of trekking I want my climb to be memorable and worth it, this one is indeed.

There will be part 2 according to the organizers and I hope I can still join them.

Father I know you have a great reason why you let me get out where I was been working, I know you could see my hardship... and now I believe you will give a job that will make me happy, were I can show my talents and skills w/ out the phone and at the same time will still have great benefits

Father it was been said that Prayer changes everything. Don't be anxious, pray instead. If God is for us, who can be against us? His Grace is sufficient. And you also said "Ask and you shall be given" and so I faithfully and whole heartedly trust you everything.. I/we believe in you.

First solo trip @Corregidor Island

Last May 28, 2012 finally I was able to fulfill one of my long plans and that is to be able to do a solo trip. My first solo trip was at Corregidor Island, which is in Southwestern part of Luzon Island of the Philippines.

I thought that going here alone is boring but I was wrong coz listening to the tour guide, keeping your eyes amazed looking around plus taking pictures will make you busy.. and oh I forgot grinding all those histories is enough to make you busy and think, so it was not boring after all.. its just a little bit tiring and exhausting (as in exhausting on how my bat cam got exhausted) walking under the tremendous hit of the sun. 

The trip started w/ a ferry ride from Manila bay to the Island, it leaves the shore at about 8:00am and it took us 75 minutes to reached the Island. During the trip as I wasn't able to eat well before the travel I feel nausea and close to throwing up fortunately I was able to control it, thank God we have reached the Island and the historical tour started w/ kuya Armand as our tour guide.

The trip thou is a bit expensive for a 6-7 hours day trip that cost P2300 for day tour but I could say its worth it..good thing I took tranvia no. 2 we had good tour guide. W/ this tour package it includes buffet lunch at Corregidor Inn, so I make sure that I full my stomach with varieties of foods that you can chose from. 

Probably next time I'll stay overnight but this time w/ friends because there are lot of activities that can do like trekking, camping, ghost hunting and other else. I did enjoy my solo trip and I Loved it.. it is indeed it's more fun (& educational) in the Philippines c",)
